Narinder Singh (aka Dutt)-Former Farmers Financial Solutions Broker- Discloses Customer Disputes-Sacrament, CA

According to publicly available records of Narinder K. Singh (aka Narinder Dutt)  (CRD#3100308) ,  a  former stockbroker who last worked for Farmers Financial Solutions, discloses a final customer dispute and a 2 pending customer disputes.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In September of 2019, FINRA Case #19-02711, alleged Singh invested their funds into a fraudulent investment that appears to have actually gone to a business controlled by Singh.     The case recently settled for $250,000.

In December 2019, a customer of Singh’s previous employer, Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc.,  alleged that Singh solicited him to invest $50,000 in an investment contract that guaranteed him 5% interest for 6 months.   Claimant alleges he wrote check to a company controlled by Singh.    Alleged damages are $16,500 and the case is pending.

In September 2019, a customer of Transamerica Financial Advisors and ProEquities, Inc., alleged Singh induced them to invest $412,500 into an investment contracts with a company Singh controlled.  Alleged damages are $1,237,500.   The case is still pending.

Singh discloses a currently outstanding lien to the IRS in the amount of $35,109, filed in Sacramento County, CA.

Singh was employed by Farmers Financial Solutions from January 2018 until November 2019.   Before that he was Proequities, Inc., Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc. and OneAmerica Securities, Inc.

Jun Zhou-Former The Leaders Group, Inc. Broker- Barred from FINRA-Chicago, IL

The FINRA records of Jun Zhou, a broker previously employed  by  The Leaders Group, Inc. & Farmers Financial Solutions, disclose  a regulatory event resulting in her bar from the securities industry and a termination.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In November 2019, Zhou  was permanently barred from the securities industry by the Securities and Exchange Commission after allegations that “she participated in private securities transactions with sales of $16,050,000 and selling compensation of $199,000 without providing written notice to, or receiving approval from, her member firm. The findings stated that Zhou, both individually and through a small real estate company she wholly owned and controlled, participated in the sale of membership interests in private real estate funds managed by a third party and in a promissory note with that third-party fund manager. The fund membership interests and the promissory note were securities. In addition, Zhou formed a private real estate fund managed by Zhou’s real estate company. Zhou subsequently filed, on behalf of the fund, a notice of exempt offering of securities with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) related to transactions through which Zhou and her real estate company sold membership interests in the fund to investors, including firm customers. In connection with these transactions, Zhou’s real estate company received from the fund a sourcing fee and a quarterly asset management fee.”

Zhou was employed with The Leaders Group, Inc.  from November of 2015 until she was discharged in August of 2018 after allegations that Zhou was agent of record for Zhou Fund, LLC, a reg D filing with the SEC.   This was not reported or approved.     Before that she was employed with Farmers Financial Solutions.

Zhou discloses affiliations with Jun Zhou CPA, LTD, Jun Zhou Insurance Agency, Inc., CityWide Real Estate, Inc. and Farmers Insurance Group.

Farmers Financial Solutions Broker Sanctioned for Back Dating Insurance Policy

August 7, 2015,

Kevin C. Trost entered into a Letter of Acceptance Waiver and Consent (AWC) with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) to resolve allegations that he backdated an insurance policy on himself following a three car accident in which he was involved which resulted in injuries to one of the other drivers

By virtue of such conduct, Trost engaged in unethical business practices and thereby failed to observe just and equitable principles of trade and high standards in violation of FINRA Rule 2010.

Trost was barred from the securities industry. According to FINRA records, Trost was registered with Farmers Financial Solutions in King of Prussia, PA, from 2/2013-6/2015.

Farmers Financial Solutions Broker Scott Barker Sanctioned by Securities Regulator

November 24, 2014-Ogden, Utah

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) barred Scott D. Barker from the securities industry to resolve allegations that he failed to provide documents and information to FINRA who was conducting and investigation into whether Barker misused insurance premiums for business and/or office expenses.

Barker was registered with Farmers Financial Solutions since January 2004.

Farmers Financial Solutions Broker James Reid Sanctioned by Regulators

December 1, 2014- Stafford, TX

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) barred James Francis Reid from the securities industry for failing to respond to requests for testimony into allegations that he had misappropriated over $21,000 in insurance premiums from 15 customers.

Reid was registered with Farmers Financial Solutions in 3/2000 and was discharged “for misappropriating insurance premiums” on 8/1/2013. After failing to respond to FINRA’s requests for testimony on three occasions, he was barred for violating FINRA Rule 2010 by converting insurance customer funds.
