In October 2014, former Redridge Securities stock broker Eric W. Johnson was barred from the securities industry for failing to cooperate with a FINRA investigation of allegations that he misappropriated more than one million in customer funds. See this for more.
Johnson’s current FINRA records report the following additional disclosures:
- 2/23/2016-State of Illinois Investigation into misappropriation of more than $1 million from at least six customers. License revoked.
- 4/15/2015- US Securities & Exchange Commission Investigation
- 1/7/2015- Johnson pled guilty to forging at least 130 letters of authorization in order to fraudulently transfer $1.25 million from client accounts to his personal accounts.
- 9/14/2014-Discharged from H.D. Brent & Company as a result of pending FBI investigation.
