Blake Kiernan-Former Woodstock Financial Broker Discloses Customer Disputes-Chicago, IL

According to publicly available records Blake H. Kiernan  (CRD#4477243) ,  a  stockbroker currently not registered, but was previously registered with  Woodstock Financial Group, Inc.,  and Four Points Capital Partners,  discloses three customer disputes.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In FINRA case #15-00736 a customer of Woodstock Financial Group, Inc. alleged churning, unsuitability, unauthorized trading, negligence, breach of contract and misrepresentation  seeking damages $197,656.98.   The case was settled for $71,500 in 8/2016.

In pending FINRA case #17-00630  a customer of Woodstock Financial Group, Inc. alleges fraud, excessive trading, churning, unauthorized trading, Iowa consumer fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, unsuitability, breach of contract, and negligent unjust enrichment and seeks damages of $200,000.

FINRA case #15-03356, filed by a customer of Woodstock Financial Group, alleges unsuitability, failure to supervise, and breach of fiduciary duty and seeks damages of $108,825.   This case is pending.

Kiernan was employed  by Woodstock Financial Group from September /2008 to May /2013.  He was then employed with Four Points Capital Partners until June of 2014.

  • In 1/2016 a customer of Woodstock Financial was paid $125,000 to resolve allegations that Shmulewitz made unsuitable investments, churned the account, committed fraud and other claims.

Steven J Shmulewitz  has been employed by Craft Capital Management since 5/2015. He was employed by Woodstock Financial Group  from 2/1999-12/2014.

William Bruckner-Banyan Private Wealth-Discloses Regulatory Sanction/ Termination of Employment-WPB, FL

The FINRA records of  William Bruckner ,  a  stockbroker who is currently registered with Woodstock Financial Group disclose a regulatory event and  a recent termination from employment.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. In 3/2017 Bruckner was fined $5,000 and suspended for 15 days by FINRA to resolve allegations that while employed by Merrill Lynch, he mismarked 20 order tickets as unsolicited when, in fact, he had solicited the underlying trades to his customers. FINRA Case 2016050195201

In 5/2016 Bruckner was discharged from Merrill Lynch who made the following allegation on his FINRA record: “Conduct including solicitation of no opinion securities, mismarking trades as unsolicited and failure to be forthcoming in discussions with the Firm”.

Bruckner was employed by Merrill Lynch from 7/2012-6/2016. Prior to that he was employed by Sanford C. Bernstein 2/2010-7/2012. He discloses a business affiliation with Banyan Private Wealth in West Palm Beach, FL.

Ryan M. Murnane-Former Alexander Capital Broker-Discloses Discharge and Customer/Regulatory Complaints

Murnane  , (CRD# 4784140) ,  a   former stockbroker who last worked for Alexander Capital and Woodstock Financial Group,  discloses a pending customer dispute, 5 prior final customer disputes, a regulatory investigation, a termination from employment and 2 outstanding judgment/liens.

In January 2017, Murnane was discharged by Woodstock Financial Group who made the following allegation on his FINRA record: “Rep destroyed the personal computer of another registered person and rep had a New York State Tax lien the he failed to disclose to us (it was discovered by FINRA)”

In February 2017 Montana securities regulators commenced an investigation after a resident of that state complained that he had been contacted numerous times by Murnane, who was not registered to do business in the state of Montana.

Murnane also worked for Rockwell Securities from 10/2010-12/2013.

Barry M. Kiront-Craft Capital Management Broker Discloses Customer Disputes

In the currently pending matter, FINRA Case 15-0458, a customer of Kiront while he was employed by Woodstock Financial Group alleges damages of $118,375 for churning, excessive commissions, unsuitable trading, violations of Mississippi securities laws and other claims.

Kiront has been registered with Craft Capital Management since 3/2015. He was registered with Woodstock Financial Group from 3/1998-3/2015.
