Leslie King-Plano Texas Stock Broker Sanctioned by Securities Regulator

Leslie Lynn King   entered into an Order Accepting Offer of Settlement (Order) with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) to resolve allegations that he aided and abetted a non-registered person to participate in the securities business in violation of SEC rules. During the time period involved, his firm paid him nearly $1.8 million in commissions and he paid over $600,000 of the commissions to the non-registered person.

King  was assessed a deferred fine of $10,000, was required to pay $50,000 in deferred disgorgement of commissions and suspended from association with any FINRA member in any capacity for two years.

Securities Regulators Sue Three Brokers Over Sale of Economic Development Finance Corporation Notes

December 9, 2014

FINRA filed a disciplinary complaint against three brokers in connection with the sale of notes issued by Economic Development Finance Corporation (EDFC) a real estate development company in Massachusetts.

The complaint alleges that in all but one instance EDFC defaulted resulting in substantial losses. Miles A Bahl and Conrad R. Huss are charged with recklessly misrepresenting the notes to prospective investors. Christopher j. Moran is alleged, on behalf of his employer du Pasquier &Co.,  to have failed to establish and maintain written supervisory procedures concerning the offer and sale of private placements, such as the EDFC Notes and to have failed to supervise Bahl and Huss.

FINRA records indicate that:

  • Miles Bahl was registered with du Pasquier & Co. 10/2005-7/2014 and has been permanently barred by the SEC from engaging in certain activities
  • Conrad Huss is not currently registered. He was previously registered with Ocean Cross Capital Markets 8/2011-1/2013. Prior to that he was registered with Southridge Investment Group 11/2006-9/2011 and before that du Pasquier & Co. 1/2005-10/2006.
  • Christopher Moran is currently registered with Aegis Capital Corp. since 7/2014. He was previously registered with du Pasquier & Co. 9/1989-7/2014
