Jason Hudson-Edward Jones Broker-Discloses Customer Dispute-Amarillo, TX

According to publicly available records Jason D. Hudson (CRD#6411443) a stockbroker with Edward Jones discloses a customer dispute which alleges undue influence.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In September 2018, FINRA Case 18-02943 was filed by an executor for an estate alleging that the decedent mistakenly transferred funds from a joint account maintained with his wife to a joint account maintained by his wife and stepdaughter as a result of alleged undue influence by the stepdaughter and Hudson, the registered representative.    The case was settled for $30,000.

Hudson has been employed with Edward Jones since November of 2014.

Curt L. Howard-Former Edward Jones Broker-Subject of $1M Customer Suit-Monahans, TX / Sapulpa, OK

According to publicly available records Curtis Lee Howard ,  a   stockbroker who formerly worked for Edward Jones and who  is currently registered with Harbor Financial Services, disclose a  prior customer dispute, a currently pending customer dispute and a termination from employment.

FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In the currently pending case filed in Dallas County, TX, a customer of Edward Jones is seeking damages of $1 million and alleges that Howard breached his fiduciary duty, committed fraud , breached the duty of good faith and fair dealing and other claims related to handling of the account starting in 2015.

Curtis Howard was employed by Edward Jones from 7/1985 until 9/2017 when he was discharged by Edward Jones who makes the following allegation on Howard’s FINRA record: “Mr. Howard’s employment was terminated by the Firm’s HR Department. Concerns had been raised relating to professionalism and judgment.”

Curtis Howard discloses a business affiliation with Phoenix Wealth Partners, LLC.

David Lancaster-Former Edward Jones Broker-Subject of Investigation for Unauthorized Trading-Wagoner, OK

According to FINRA records, William David Lancaster ,  a  stockbroker who formerly was employed by Edward Jones, disclose a prior regulatory investigation, a prior customer dispute, a  and a termination from employment.

FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

According to Enforcement Division Recommendations  filed by the State Of Oklahoma Department of Securities in March 2018,  Lancaster was the subject of an internal investigation commenced by Edward Jones regarding discretionary trading in as many as 20 customer accounts. However, in an application filed by Lancaster with the regulatory he made inaccurate representations to the regulator regarding knowledge of the investigation. In June 2018 the Oklahoma regulators temporarily barred Lancaster from the securities industry for 24 months.

David Lancaster  was employed by Edward Jones from 4/1999-2/2018. He was briefly registered with Arvest Wealth Management from 2/2018-3/2018.

Brokers have a duty to discuss purchases and sales with their customers prior to making trades in their accounts, unless previous written authority has been granted to the broker by the customer.

Danielle McAniff-Former Edward Jones Broker-Discloses Regulatory Sanction-Albuquerque, N. Mexico

The FINRA records of Danielle Jean McAniff, a broker currently employed by NEXT Financial Group, disclose that she was recently suspended for two months and fined $5,000 by securities regulators.

FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In FINRA Letter of Acceptance Waiver and Consent 2016051104501, FINRA found that from June 2013 to June 2016, while employed by Edward Jones,  McAniff engaged in a practice , and permitted her office administrator, to have customers sign blank and incomplete forms or use photocopied customer signatures.

This conduct violated various FINRA rules, including FINRA Rule 2010 which requires brokers to “observe high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade”.

McAniff was ‘permitted to resign’ from Edward Jones in 7/2016.  She joined NEXT Financial Group in 9/2016.

Marcos Yanez-Former LPL Financial Broker-Named in Customer Dispute Over Insurance and Loan-Dallas, TX

The FINRA records of  Marcos Yanez ,  a   former stockbroker with LPL Financial who is currently not registered with any brokerage firm disclose a pending customer dispute.

In currently pending FINRA case #17-0528 a customer of LPL Financial and Edward Jones alleges damages of $200,000 for misrepresentations in the sale of a variable life insurance policy. In Addition the customer alleges that Yanez convinced him to take out a margin loan in order to loan the money to Yanez.

Yanez was employed by LPL Finanical from 12/2011-3/2016. Prior to that he was with Edward Jones 7/2007-1/2012. Yanez discloses business relationships with STAIB Wealth Management and Silver Sail Wealth Advisors.
