Robert D. Armstrong Phd. (aka Dr. Armstrong) , a stockbroker currently employed by Dawson James Securities discloses 3 pending customer disputes on his publicly available FINRA record.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In February 2018 a Dawson James Securities customer filed FINRA Case 18-0502 alleging that Armstrong made misrepresentations, promissory statements and unsuitable investment recommendations and is seeking damages of $230,000.

In March 2018 a customer of Dawson James Securities  filed FINRA Case #18-0944 alleging false and misleading assurances and unsuitable recommendations and is seeking damages of $444,000.

In April 2018 a customer of Dawson James Securities filed FINRA Case #18-01176 alleging that Dr. Armstrong made misrepresentations and promissory statements in regard to a private placement that was not suitable and is seeking damages of $900,000.

Armstrong has been employed by Dawson James Securities  since 8/2012.  His previous employers include Westpark Capital Aurora Capital and Tyratech, Inc.

Armstrong discloses business affiliations with Auxol Capital, Royal Palm Investors, Ark Financial Services and  Helomics.

The FINRA records of  Dominic J. Linsalata Jr.  ,  a  stockbroker who is currently registered with Newbridge Securities disclose a customer dispute that was settled.

In FINRA arbitration #15-02669 a customer of Dawson James Securities alleged damages of $340,000 for unsuitable recommendations. That case was settled for $175,000 in 3/2017.

Linsalata has been employed by Newbridge Securities  since 7/2016. He was with Dawson James from 10/2102-8/2016 and with Chelsea Financial Services from 1/2012-7/2012.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

According to FINRA records,  Pranav V. Patel discloses:

  • A  pending criminal charge for Conspiracy to Commit Securities Fraud, Securities Fraud, Money Laundering Conspiracy and Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud. See this release dated May 3, 2016 from the US Attorney’s office for Eastern District of New York.
  • 1 pending civil event-See this SEC Litigation Release announcing fraud charges against Patel.
  • One prior settled customer complaints. In FINRA Case 11-3722, a customer while Patel was registered with  CBG Finanical Group alleged damages of $450,000 for unsuitable investments, misrepresentations and breach of fiduciary duties. That case was settled for $75,000.

According to FINRA records, Patel  was  previously registered with Dawson James Securities, Columbus Advisory Group, National Securities Corporation, NSM Securities, CBG Financial Group and Gunn Allen Financial.

Luis Marquez-Former Dawson James Broker-Named In Customer Arbitration-Ft. Lauderdale

FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

FINRA records are public and can be accessed on the BrokerCheck website. 

The FINRA records of Luis Marquez  disclose that he has a pending customer dispute. In FINRA Case 15-02669 a customer alleges that while Marquez was employed by Dawson James Securities he invested the account in unsuitable investments and caused losses of $340,000. The investments involved are common and preferred stocks and private placements.

Luis Marquez has been registered with Laidlaw & Company  since 1/2013..  He was previously registered with Dawson James  Securities from 9/2006-2/2013.
