John Bulicek Investigation

The FINRA records of John David Bulicek, a stockbroker who is employed by Avalon Securities, Ltd., disclose a pending civil suit alleging the sale of unregistered securities.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In January of 2022, a customer of Bulicek filed civil suit #1:21-cv-04903-FMO-AGR in a federal court in Los Angeles, CA, alleging that Bulicek and other named defendants unlawfully induced a sale of unregistered securities in exchange for a $200,000 investment in a film and alleged that Bulicek later withheld the return of his investment. The case is currently pending.
Bulicek has been employed by Avalon Securities, Ltd. since 01/2020. Prior to that he was with Canaccord Genuity, SHP Securities and SwedBank First Securities.
