According to FINRA records, Walter J. Reyna , a former Lincoln Financial Securities broker discloses two recently filed arbitrations by customers seeking damages for losses on oil and gas investments.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
Two customers have filed arbitrations against Lincoln Financial Securities, Reyna’s former employer, seeking an unspecified damages resulting on oil and gas investments. The customers allege that Reyna made unsuitable recommendations.
Reyna was employed by Lincoln Financial Securities from 9/20218-3/2022. He is currently employed by J.W. Cole Financial and also operates as a registered investment advisor with Walter J. Reyna, Inc. in McAllen, TX.
