Perry Abbonizio Sanctioned by
Texas Securities Regulator
July 2022- Austin, TX
On June 23, 2022, the Texas State Securities Board (TSSB) entered an order sanctioning Perry Abbonizio.
In February, 2020, the Texas Securities Commissioner had previously entered an Emergency Order against Abbonizio , Senior Asset Protection, dba Encore Financial Solutions, Merchant Growth & Income Funding LLC, AbetterFinancial Plan.com, Complete Business Solutions, and Gary Neal Beasley, who were allegedly involved in the sale of promissory notes tied to merchant cash advance financing transactions.
According to the TSSB order, the promissory notes are securities, as defined by the Texas Securities Act and Abbonizio violated the Act by offering securities for sale and selling securities in Texas at a time when the securities were not registered in Texas. In addition, Abbonizio further violated the Act by offering securities for sale and selling securities in Texas without being registered.
The TSSB ordered that Abbonizio immediately cease and desist of offering for sale any security in Texas until the security is registered and further ordered that Abbonizio cease and desist from acting as a securities agent in Texas until he is registered. In addition, the TSSB assessed Abbonizio an administrative fine of $55,000.
