According to publicly available records Andrew Edenbaum a currently unregistered broker who last worked for Alliance Global Partners, discloses 2 final regulatory matters resulting in suspension from the industry, two customer disputes and a termination from employment.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In 6/2022 FINRA suspended Edenbaum from the industry indefinitely for failing to to comply with an arbitration award or settlement agreement or to satisfactorily respond to a FINRA request to provide information concerning the status of compliance.
In 3/2022 FINRA suspended Edenbaum from FINRA in all capacities for three months as sanctions and assessed a $10,000 after findings that Edenbaum participated in private securities transaction without providing written notice to his member firm. The findings stated that Edenbaum participated in the sale of a $150,000 variable annuity to an individual who was not a customer of the firm. The sale was through another broker dealer with which Edenbaum was not associated.
In June 2020, Edenbaum was discharged from National Securities Corp. after allegations of violation of firm rules for sale activities involving the solicitation of an annuity product while the representatives’ requisite product license was lapsed.
Edenbaum’s last registration was with Alliance Global Partners from October 2020 to March 2022. He was with National Securities Corp. from July 2018 until July 2020. Prior to that Edenbaum was with Oppenheimer & Co. from January 2002 until July 2018.
