The FINRA records of Patrick R. Chitwood , owner of Chitwood Advisory Group and Chitwood Wealth Management, a stockbroker who was formerly employed by Arkadios Capital disclose a pending customer dispute.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In FINRA arbitration 22-0441, a customer of Mr. Chitwood’s former employer, Arkadios Capital , alleges negligence, over concentration and unsuitable recommendations in connection with investments in alternative investments, including limited partnerships and real estate securities. The customer seeks damages in excess of one million.
Chitwood is currently employed by Triad Advisors. He was previously employed by Arkadios Capital from 2/2017-11/2021. Prior to that he was with ACG Wealth.
