Juan Fiorito Investigation

According to publicly available records Juan Carlos Fiorito, a broker previously registered with Insigneo Securities and Northeast Securities, discloses settlement of a customer dispute.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In 11/2017, a client of Northeast Securities, where Fiorito previously was employed, alleged excessive trading in U.S. government securities. The case settled for $200,000 with $50,694 paid by Fiorito individually.
Fiorito was with Insigneo Securities from July of 2017 until January of 2018. Before that time he was with Northeast Securities, Barclays Capital, Inc. and Lehman Brothers, Inc.
