According to publicly obtained records, Oscar “Buddy” Jackson III, a former registered investment adviser,  who was last employed by Leo Wealth LLC,  disclose a prior regulatory matter, a currently pending customer dispute, and a termination of employment.

Early in his career, in 2006, Jackson was censured and fined $6,000 by the Texas State Securities Board to resolve allegations that he failed to properly register as an investment adviser representative.

In 1/2021 a customer of his prior employer, Investment and Asset Planning LLC, filed a claim seeking more than $250,000 and allege that Mr. Jackson failed to change the beneficiaries on certain accounts prior to the death of the account holder. This matter is currently pending.

Recently, in 2/2022, Buddy Jackson was discharged by Leo Wealth who alleged that Jackson had a security breach and failed to comply with instructions surrounding the breach, notwithstanding the fact he was given several opportunities to do so.

Buddy Jackson III was employed by Leo Wealth of Wichita Falls, TX, from 10/2021-2/2022Prior to that he was with BFT Financial Group in Bedford, TX. He worked for Investment & Asset Planning of Wichita Falls, TX, from 11/2006-6/2014.
