According to publicly available records,  Richard J. Whalen,  a UBS Financial Services, Inc., broker discloses a customer dispute.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In 7/2021, a UBS Financial Services customer resolved a suit alleging that  Whalen invested in unsuitable securities which were over concentrated in the energy sector.   The case was settled for $140,000.
