According to publicly available records David O. Bibo, a broker with Western International Securities broker discloses 2 prior and 2 pending customer disputes and a termination from employment.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In 6/2020, FINRA case #20-02893 was filed by a customer of Western International alleging misrepresentation and unsuitable recommendations in real estate investment trusts (REITs). The alleged damages are $300,000.
In December of 2019, FINRA case #19-03619 was filed by a customer of Western International Securities alleging unsuitable recommendations to invest in REITs. Damages of $1,500,000 are sought in this currently pending matter.
