Vince Mastrovito Investigation

The FINRA records of Vince Mastrovito, a broker who formerly worked for J.W. Cole Financial, Inc. and Cambridge Investment Research disclose 2 pending customer disputes and a terminations from employment.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In January of 2022, in FINRA case # 22-00120 filed by a customer of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.,  a customer alleges that Mastrovito  over concentrated their account with  alternative investments, REITs, annuities and life insurance policies and as a result, has lost a significant amount of money.    Damages are not stated .

In 11/2022 a customer of J.W. Cole Financial filed FINRA case 22-120 alleging that Mastrovito made unsuitable recommendations to invest in REITs and insurance causing damages in an unspecified amount.

In September of 2013, Mastrovito was permitted to resign from Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., after allegations that he violated firm policy regarding the sale of equity indexed annuities.

Mastrovito was registered with J.W. Cole Financial, Inc. from October 2013 until December of 2021.   He is not currently registered with any FINRA broker dealer.  Before that time he was with Lincoln Financial Advisors and Cambridge Investment Research. Mastrovito discloses a business affiliation with Luminous Wealth Management in Charlevoix, MI.
