Ronald Scott Daley Investigation

March 2022- Hamilton, OH

According to publicly available records Ronald Daley  a  former stockbroker who last worked for W & S Brokerage Services discloses that he was permanently barred from the securities industry by FINRA, has a final and one pending customer dispute and a termination from employment.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In September of 2021, without admitting or denying the findings, Daley consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he refused to appear for on-the-record testimony or to produce documents and information requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into his potential theft of funds from elderly customers.

In March of 2021, a customer of W & S Brokerage Services alleged that he was misinformed about an annuity variable.  This case was settled for $76,108.

IN May of 2021, W & S Brokerage Services received a complaint on behalf of an elderly customer through her Power of Attorney alleging conversion of funds withdrawn from life insurance and fixed annuities with alleged damages of $500,000.   The case is still pending.

In August of 2021, Daley was discharged from W & S Brokerage Services upon the discovery that he had violated firm policies.    These alleged actions are still under investigation at this time.     He had been employed with  W & S Brokerage Services since May of 2008.
