According to publicly available records Richard Wayne Demetriou, a former stockbroker who last worked for Titan Securities discloses a regulatory event, three customer disputes and a tax lien.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In 7/2021 FINRA permanently barred Demetriou from the industry.
In 5/2014 in FINRA case #14-01386, a customer of Private Consulting Group/ Wealth Advisors/ Wealth Concepts alleged unsuitable investments from 1999-2007. The case settled for $120,000.
In 7/2008, customers of Private Wealth Consulting Group alleged wrongful acts and the case settled for $75,000 in 2/2008..
In 6/2021, in FINRA case #21-01413, a customer of alleges an over concentration in REITs and is seeking an unspecified amount of damages. The case is currently pending.
In 6/2016, the U.S. Treasury filed a tax lien in the amount of $315,908 against Demetriou.
Demetriou was employed by Titan Securities from 4/2009-6/2021. Prior to that he was employed by Private Consulting Group, Inc.
