Dale A. Ramsperger Investigation
October 2021- Scottsdale, AZ
According to publicly available records Dale Ramsperger, a broker who last worked for DMK Advisor Group and prior to that Securities America, discloses a regulatory event and a termination from employment.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In August of 2021, Ramsperger consented to the entry of findings that he participated in a private securities transaction without prior written disclosure to his member firm. The findings stated that Ramsperger notified two former customers of the firms about an investment opportunity in a media company that he served as a minority shareholder and as an executive, who ultimately invested in the company by purchasing a promissory note in the total amount of $250,000. Ramsperger drafted the note and related documents, provided the documents to the customers for execution, and signed the note on behalf of the media company. At the end of the investment’s five-year term, one customer agreed to reinvest in the company and Ramsperger drafted a revised promissory note that he also executed on behalf of the media company. Ramsperger’s failure to provide prior written notice to the firm is aggravated by the fact that he did not disclose that he was engaged in a private securities transaction on several attestations he provided the firm. FINRA suspended Ramsperger for five months beginning 9/2021.
In F1/2020, Ramsperger was discharged from employment with Securities America for failure to follow Firm policy and procedures related to borrowing funds from customers.
Ramsperger was employed with Securities America from 2/1994-1/2020. He was last registered with DMK Advisor Group of Lakewood, CO. He discloses a business affiliation with Third Millennium Money Inc. of Cave Creek, AZ.
