Texas Securities Commissioner Travis J. Iles, of the Texas State Securities Board entered an emergency cease and desist order to stop Riek Capital (aka Riek Capital Investment, aka Riek Capital Distributors) from illegally promoting fraudulent investments in trading programs. The Texas State Securities Board (TSSB) is responsible for administering and enforcing the Texas Securities Act.

- Riek promoted lucrative returns including claims a principal investment of $21,000 in the ‘Gold Plan’ would pay as much as 6%, per week. Riek claims the returns are guaranteed, regardless of actual performance.
