July 2021- Dallas, TX

According to publicly available records,  Constantinos G. Maniatis, a financial advisor previously with Morgan Stanley, discloses a regulatory event and a termination from employment.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In April 2021,  after FINRA case #2019062788601 Maniatis consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that he exercised discretion in customer accounts despite the fact that his member firm no longer permitted such discretionary trading.    The findings stated that although the firm and the customers had previously authorized the exercise of discretion in the accounts at issue, at the time of the transactions, the firm did not permit the exercise of discretion in the accounts and no longer accepted the accounts as discretionary accounts.   Sanctions were a thirty day suspension from FINRA and a $5,000 fine.

Maniatis was employed by Morgan Stanley from 6/2009-5/2019. In May of 2019, Maniatis was discharged from Morgan Stanley after allegations concerning employee’s diversion of revenue from assigned rep code and trading in non-discretionary accounts.   Maniatias discloses a business affiliation with Corps Capital Advisors of Dallas, TX.
