According to a press release from the Department of Justice, Northern District of Texas, Heather M. Cooper, 40 , a former banker with FirstCapital Bank of Texas has pleaded guilty for embezzling thousands of dollars.
According to the press release Ms. Cooper, who began working at FirstCapital Bank in 2012 as a mortgage loan processor, pleaded guilty to to a felony information charging one count of theft, embezzlement, or misapplication by a bank officer.
Ms. Cooper faces up to 30 years in federal prison. Sentencing is set for April 20, 2021, before3 US District Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk.
