According to publicly available records of John Leighton Mitchell (CRD#336967) ,  a broker with Titan Securities, discloses one final and three currently pending customer disputes.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

A customer of Mitchell’s previous employer, Sentra Securities  alleging violation of federal securities laws and tortious interference with contract, in connection with the purchase and sale of limited partnerships interests.   The case settled for $60,000.

Three customers of another of Mitchell’s previous employers, Eplanning Securities, filed customer complaints seeking damages in excess of $7 million .    These three cases are still pending in California state court according to Mitchell’s FINRA disclosures.

Mitchell has been employed with Titan Securities since July of 2012.   Before that time he was employed by Pacific West Securities,  Inc., EPlanning Securities, Inc., Brookstreet Securities Corporation, VSR Financial Services, H. Beck, Inc. and Sentra Securities Corporation.
