The FBI , Dallas Division, announced that Thomas W. Lucas, Jr. , 35, of Plano, Texas, has been found guilty of federal wire fraud violations as well as one count of making a false statement to the FBI.
The jury deliberated for less than an hour before reaching their verdict that Lucas defrauded over 100 investors our of $60 million on a fictional Disney Resort and Theme Park originally called The King Ranch Project and later Frontier Disney DFW.
Lucas faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
