Jones and his law firm have been sued in Tarrant County by France/US Investment LLC, Codechem US LLC, K&K Energy LLC and Financiere Sittler US LLC in connection with the purchase of interests in mining and exploration companies owned by Spencer Edwards.
According to the report, the plaintiffs allege that they hired Jones who represented that he knew Spencer Edwards and was familiar with his business ventures in Wyoming. The plaintiffs allege that they lost all their money ( $6.7 million) when the deal turned out to be a Ponzi scheme.
