The SEC instituted proceedings against Paul Marshall of Atlanta, Georgia, alleging that from April 2011 through July 2013, Marshall owned and operated Bridge Securities, LLC, and Bridge Equity,Inc. and that he misappropriated investor funds, falsely stated to investors that their funds were fully invested and earning positive returns, and otherwise engaged in a variety of conduct that operated as a fraud and deceit on investors.
An injunction was entered against Marshall on September 16, 2014. In an earlier action he and his companies were ordered to pay $15 million in fines and restitution.
