The Texas State Securities Board (TSSB) entered an order suspending the investment adviser registration of Jens Pinkernell and his company J. Pinkernell Global Wealth, LLC for five years.
According to the TSSB, Pinkernell withdrew funds from clients’ accounts as investment management fees in excess of the amount agreed upon with the clients thereby committing a fraud as defined by Section 4.F of the Texas Securities Act.
In addition to the suspension of registration, Pinkernell was ordered to repay two clients over $46,000 as reimbursement of the overcharged fees.
FINRA records indicate that from 12/2010-5/2012, Pinkernell was a registered stockbroker with Edward Jones in Celina, Texas.
