FINRA records report that Daren Dorval, who has been registered with Legend Securities since 9/2009, is named in a 3 currently pending arbitrations:
- FINRA Case 15-802 filed by a Florida resident, alleges that Dorval was not licensed to sell securities in Florida, made false statements of material fact, engaged in unauthorized transactions, failed to follow instructions, engaged in churning and stock manipulation and improperly used margin borrowing in the account. The customer alleges damages of $150,000.
- FINRA Case 15-1904. The customer alleges that Dorval executed unauthorized transactions in the account and seeks damages of $260,000.
- FINRA Case 13-2638-FINRA also lists this case as 13-2630. The client claims excessive trading for the purpose of generating commissions, that Dorval ignored the client’s wishes to trade conservatively and continued to manage the account in an extremely aggressive manner and that Dorval refused to make good on an executed settlement agreement. The customer alleges damages of $500,000.
Daren Dorval has been named in a customer dispute in which a customer alleged unauthorized trading and failure to follow instructions. That case was settled in 8/2010 for $30,000.
