UPDATE APRIL 2017Jetmir Ahmeti is not currently registered with any broker dealer according to FINRA records.  Ahmeti was discharged from Edward Jones 5/2015. The firm made the following allegation in connection with his discharge: “Mr. Ahmeti opened 14 accounts without speaking to the putative account owners. One of the accounts opened was for a deceased person.”

In April 2017 FINRA suspended Ahmeti for nine months  to resolve allegations that he failed to disclose a material fact on regulatory forms.

ORIGINAL POST-October 21st, 2015-

The Texas State Securities Board (TSSB) entered a disciplinary order against Jetmir Ahmeti of Ahmeti Wealth Management, Richardson, Texas. In the Order, which can be accessed here, Ahmeti was reprimanded, suspended for 30 days and assessed a fine of $5,000.

The TSSB found that Ahmeti failed to disclose to his firm that he had been charged with a felony on November 3, 2014, in violation of TSSB rules.

His official FINRA records report that  Ahmeti was terminated by Edward Jones on May 1, 2015, for opening fourteen new brokerage accounts without speaking to the potential account owners. One of the accounts opened was for a deceased person.

Ahmeti was registered with Edward Jones from 9/2009-5/2015. Prior to that he was registered with AXA Advisors.
